Cornish Hen with Apple Glaze
Ingredients: | 4 Cornish Hens (about 1 lb. each) ½ Tsp. Ground Cinnamon 1 Cup Apple Cider 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch 3 Lemon slices |
Instructions: | Wash the Hens
and Arrange in a small Roasting Pan
In a Saucepan, combine the apple cider, cinnamon and constarch, and mix until smooth. Add the lemon slices. Cook and stir the cider mixture over medium heat until the mixture thickens Brush this glaze over the hens. Roast the hens in a 375°F oven for 1 hour or until they are fork-tender. Baste with additional sauce several times during the cooking. Cut hens in half for one portion. Serve with Vegetables and Wild Rice serves 8 |
